Member Spotlight

Reilly Oki (He/Him)

My name is Reilly Oki, I am a recent grad from California Northstate University (C/O 2022) and am currently working as an intern at CVS. At my time at CNU I had the opportunity to serve as the student trustee at CPhA as well as helped to start the mentorship program for Sac Valley. Through my involvement, I have met many great mentors and have been fortunate enough to build many strong relationships amongst the rest of the members. I look forward to staying engaged with the association and hope to give back to students and provide them the support that so many others have done for me.

How long have you been a member of CPhA/SVPhA and why did you join?

“I have been a member of CPhA/SVPhA since my first year of pharmacy school and joined because one of my mentors recommended getting involved with the state association as well as SVPhA as my local association to start being engaged with the profession.”

What’s your favorite part about being a member of CPhA/SVPhA?

“My favorite part about being a CPhA/SVPhA member is building strong relationships with everyone throughout the organization.”

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment to date?

“My biggest accomplishment was being recognized as CPhA’s Student Pharmacist of the Year.”

What’s a piece of advice you would give to someone who is new to the field?

“You don’t need to get involved with everything, but the things you do choose to be a part of make sure you can speak to the things that you do.”

What’s a unique fun fact people don’t know about you?

“I’ve bowled a perfect game.”
