Virtual Advocacy Day 2021
Please join the California Pharmacists Association and the United Nurses Associations of California, Union of Health Care Professionals for our annual joint Virtual Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 12:30 pm – 6:15 pm. This important grassroots event will provide insight and information related to legislation affecting the profession of pharmacy in all practice settings. You will also have the opportunity to hear from legislative leaders and earn 1.0 CE hour credit!
CPhA and UNAC/UHCP have partnered together on many legislative issues supporting and defending pharmacists. We are committed to working together to continue to advance the pharmacy protection and ensure that pharmacists are able to provide care to their patients without corporate interference.
This year you will meet with your legislators and key legislative staff via Hopin. Each attendee will be assigned to a legislative appointment to discuss the issues affecting the profession of pharmacy. This is a critical time to show lawmakers how important pharmacists are for the success of the healthcare team and the public health benefit they continue to provide to the community during a pandemic.
Our collaborative efforts have resulted in positive outcomes for our respective members, let’s continue to advocate together in support of pharmacists in all practice settings.
