Patient-Centered Pharmacy Home Accredited Status: Recognizing Excellence in Advanced Rx Services

This session will review one of several accreditation programs for pharmacy services, the Patient-Centered Pharmacy Home (PCPH) accreditation program.  This session will discuss the differences between retail pharmacy and advanced pharmacy services.  It will discuss how PCPH can help promote better patient medication management.

At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the difference between traditional retail Rx and advanced pharmacy services
  • Discuss the guiding principles that lead to PCPH™ accreditation
  • List how to promote value-based pharmacy services

Continuing Pharmacy Education

The California Pharmacists Association (#0113) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Upon completing an evaluation form, participants will be awarded 1 hour (0.1 CEUs) of Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit. A statement of credit will not be issued. Participants may log onto the CPE monitor website using their individual log in to download their statement of credit. Please allow 4 weeks for processing of CPE credits to the CPE monitor.
