Whether you are a pharmacist, future pharmacist, or pharmacy technician, CPhA has an event for you. Western Pharmacy Exchange, town hall meetings, and leadership programs provide the opportunity to keep up with the latest news in the profession, catch up with friends and colleagues, and network with your peers.
Western Pharmacy Exchange is the premier showcase for inspiring and educating pharmacy professionals. As the largest pharmacy conference in the West, WPE is dedicated to delivering an unparalleled, progressive, and memorable experience.
In an effort to address barriers to pharmacy best practices, CPhA has convened the Community Pharmacy Advocacy Group (CPAG), which addresses state regulations and pharmacy benefit manager practices that inhibit community pharmacies from serving their patients. Learn about our efforts to improve the current state of Community Pharmacy affairs by attending a CPAG Town Hall.
Pharmacists, by nature, use science every day to make the lives of patients healthier. Be it by creating a new medication therapy delivery system, or finding innovation through digital health technology, pharmacists have always been on the edge of the future. That is why Rx Boot Camp is a part of the Future Pharmacists curriculum. Taking place in the fall of every year, CPhA invites all Future Pharmacists to engage with their colleagues and pitch your business ideas to peers who advise on the feasibility of your innovative thoughts! Some ideas even get funded. Are you ready to innovate?
Become a transformative leader in all pharmacy practice settings by joining the Leadership Development Institute. Over nine months, participants attend four in-person sessions with a cohort of like-minded colleagues who are all focused on advancing their leadership qualities. Be it in a professional or familial setting, attending Leadership Development Institute will require participants to identify your inherent leadership qualities to implement positive change in all environments. Graduates of the Leader Development Institute have historically become leaders in their local chapters, served on the CPhA Board of Trustees, and advanced their professional careers.
Just getting started in your career? Or wanting to do more with your career? Why not spend a weekend with your colleagues and focus on identifying your leadership qualities and expanding your impact? With three different levels, LDW has options for pharmacists in every stage of leadership. And by attending, you will earn up to 8.5 hours of Continuing Education.
