SIGs & Committees

It’s a well-known fact that associations are stronger when members provide their vision to move the profession forward. That is why CPhA offers multiple platforms for members to engage.

Special Interest Groups (Formerly known as “Academies”)

Upon joining or renewing membership in CPhA, members are placed in a Special Interest Group (SIG) that correlates to a member’s professional practice setting. Members can belong to more than one SIG. Led by elected Chairs and Chair-Elects, each SIG may discuss policy or regulatory ideas for consideration by committees and the Board. Additionally, SIGs may host quarterly conference calls or mixers to foster networking amongst the SIG. To access the list of SIGs and its leaders, click here. Committees

In addition to SIGs, committees provide valuable direction and insight to the Board of Trustees. Committees offer members an opportunity to dive into details and collaborate at the granular level. Each of CPhA’s eleven committees cater to the diverse interests of our members, be it advocacy, education, awards, finance, policy writing, and even serving as an advisor for our Journal of Contemporary Pharmacy Practice.

Whatever your skillset, CPhA relies on the vision and dedication of our volunteers to move the association forward and assist the Board of Trustees in strategic decisions.

Committees are a pathway for members to grow their leadership skills, network and be involved in the profession. To learn more about CPhA’s committees, click here. [change pathway of ‘here’ page and place behind paywall].
