About CPhA

Our Story

Founded in 1869, the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is the largest state pharmacy association in the U.S., dedicated to representing pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists across all practice settings.
Our members work in community pharmacies (including independent pharmacies and chain drug stores), hospitals & health systems, and specialized fields such as compounding, managed care, ambulatory care, and long-term care. By providing education, advocacy, and professional development, CPhA empowers pharmacy professionals to enhance patient care and medication management across California.
